‘Love, Love, Loved this service’
We read about this tour in Rick Steve’s travel guide. We arrived in Katakolon and booked a 4-hour tour with Takis a day prior to our arrival. Takis responded immediately and let us know we would be taken care of. Once we arrived, Takis let us know that even though he was booked, he arranged for an associate, Nicholas, to take care of us. The car was already running with the AC on (it was really warm out) and there were drinks in the car for us. About half -way through our tour, Takis met us at one of our stops to make sure everything was going well-that’s great customer service.
I can’t say enough good things about Nicholas. Very warm and charming, great with our kids. A joy to be around. He asked what we wanted to do (see the sites at Olympia, do some shopping, and have some lunch) and proposed a schedule.
The whole day was a real pleasure. He seemed to know all the best places and people. Nicholas took us to a great place a little out of town. The food was authentic, inexpensive and FANTASTIC!. We continued to talk about it long after we digested it all. He took us to a great place with a view of the coast line at the end of our tour with a little time left to do some more shopping. Plus, he bought the kids some ice cream. A perfect day. The only bad thing is that we expected this kind of service at every port stop we made. It was now our standard for touring and riding on a crowded, impersonal bus just wouldn’t do. Well worth the money, which was way cheaper than the cruise tours.
